The Emmy Award for Best Tweets Goes to…

You may know of Lin Manuel Miranda as the creator of “Hamilton,” the stunningly brilliant musical that took the world by storm.

But did you know that his Twitter is also a work of art? Allow me to show you. Below are seven of his most wholesome, charming 280-character masterpieces.

Lin’s good morning tweets are a breath of fresh air to even the anti-morning. I mean come on, I feel like I just went through a 280-word therapy session. Even Lin, a prolific genius, admits that today won’t be perfect, but what matters is that we get up and face it.

Now, I unfortunately don’t know Lin personally, but I feel like he somehow knows me. He speaks straight to those who have a hard day ahead of them. Are your coworkers being a bother?  Did you get passed over for that promotion? You go and be kind to them even when it’s hard and even when they don’t appreciate you.

Lin’s good night tweets are like being tucked in to bed (no, I’m not exaggerating). If even the creator of multiple three-hour long, Emmy-award winning musicals can just rest for the night, so can we. Also, he’s grateful for us?? What an honor.

A gentle morning message for those waking up for the daily grind. Embrace where you are.

Ah yes, a play metaphor. Hits different when it’s the creator of one of the greatest plays in modern history. An inspirational and true message that no one else can fill our spot in the world. I feel so valued.

So sweet, Lin, so sweet. Life is messy, but walk through it with someone you care about.

Finally, let’s end this with one of Lin’s many wholesome parenting tweets. What a testament to his masterful storytelling and humorous word choice. Also, how tender is it that a Broadway star is also such a dedicated family man.

From life advice to encouragement to humor, Lin’s tweets are a lighthearted, quirky gift to the world. Having a bad day or just need a pick-me-up? Look no further than Lin Manuel Miranda’s Twitter.

 Sincerely, Hannah
